Nicole Roux is a HPCSA registered Clinical Psychologist. She practices psychotherapy and offers assessment services from her practice in Century City, Cape Town.

Nicole holds the following degrees: 

  • Master of Arts with Distinction (Clinical Psychology) obtained from Rhodes University.
  • Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences with Distinction (Psychology) obtained from the University of Pretoria.
  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) obtained from the University of Pretoria.

Nicole gained clinical experience while practicing at the Rhodes University Psychology Clinic as a student psychologist. She completed both her internship and community service at Fort England Psychiatric Hospital in Grahamstown. During this time Nicole formed part of the multidisciplinary team within the hospital setting. She gained experience by working in multiple settings, including: case managing observation and forensic patients at the Maximum Security Unit; running group and individual psychotherapy in the Substance Abuse Treatment Unit; case managing a child psychiatric clinic in Port Alfred; and seeing clients on an ‘out-patient’ basis.

Nicole established her independent private practice in January 2012. Her practice is situated centrally within an integrative medical suite in Century City, Cape Town. Nicole works in collaboration with colleagues in related fields, and where necessary she is able to assist with referrals to appropriate professionals. 

She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), with the registration category of Clinical Psychologist (Independent Practice) and Practitioner number PS 0446629. She is also registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) with Practice Number 086 001 1446629.
